Jaxon 7 months!

The more I post these monthly updates, the more I realize that my baby is growing up. And one day, he’ll be a crazy toddler running wild and driving me crazy 😉 I laugh because although he’s 7 months, some days I feel like I treat him like he’s 3 months! We love him so much and couldn’t imagine our lives without him!  

• Age: 7 months!!! 
• Wearing 6-9 months; 9 months. 
• Weighs 16 ish lbs 
• Rolls all over, starting to army crawl (really only by pushing his legs against something) 
• Loves loves loves to nurse & eat baby food – he’ll grunt and squeal if I’m not feeding him fast enough and usually gets mad when the food is gone! 
• He’s babbling a lot and knows how to squeal/grunt to get our attention 
• His face lights up at the sight of Alayna (I will keep posting this one as I know, one day, this won’t be the case and they’ll be fighting more than playing 😔)
• Getting much better at sitting up – lazy boy, or maybe spoiled? 
• Still no teeth, but drooling like crazy
• Loves to be in his Ergo
• Pretty good sleeper – he gets SUPER cranky around 6:30-7:00 pm when he’s ready for bed. So different than Alayna was

  
  

 

Fall season!

I’m super excited that Fall is here (even though I live in the desert and it’s still a million degrees – it’s the thought that counts right?). I always look forward to the leaves, cooler weather (any day now), costume planning, hot Chai’s, jeans & sweatshirts, boots, pumpkins, football, fires, and soooo much more! Here are a few of my fall favorites.

 
To kick off fall, we’ve all had a never ending cold! I swear it goes away and comes back! But that won’t stop us from having fun this month. Looking forward to going to the pumpkin patch and watching Alayna really enjoy it now that she’s older. Stay tuned for Halloween costumes!
