I know I have been gone for a while (5 months… Eeeek), but for some reason I just get caught up in the life of being a mom, student, wife, daughter, speech specialist, sister, that I find myself taking the little down time that I get for me. I love my blog and think about it often. I just need to get back in the habit of posting more often. Sometimes I get so far behind, I don’t know how to catch up….so here it goes.
We are expecting our second child in March 🙂 we are so excited that it’s a boy!! This time around, we decided to do a gender revel party. It was such a fun and exciting night. We had mustaches for those who thought it was a boy and tiaras for those who thought it was a girl. I remember walking around anxiously waiting for everyone to finish eating so we can find out what baby was. My husband had the awesome idea of using glow sticks!! My sister passed a glow stick to everyone (in the dark) and at the same, we cracked them and the whole room lit up in blue! I had to hold back tears! It was a blast. Alayna LOVED the lights and was running around waving her glow sticks in the air.
Alayna is growing so fast…I just can’t believe she is a little toddler. She loves to boss people around, dance to any music, constantly yells “it’s stuck” when she can’t get something for some reason, says hi to EVERYONE and their mom in the store, and sings “let it go” every time she sees something from Frozen. She is the best thing that has happened to our family and we can’t wait to see her become a big sister (after the initial shock lol).
I’m sad I didn’t do my weekly pregnancy posts. Is it too late to start at 25 weeks? I think not…. Stay tuned!
